CDO participates in the 37th General Assembly of the International Security League

CDO participated in the 37th General Assembly of the International Security League, which was held last October in Portugal.

Last October 7-9, the 37th Assembly of the International Security League, an international organization founded in 1933 that brings together the world’s most prestigious security companies, was held in the prestigious setting of the Penha Longa Resort in Sintra, Portugal.

The League’s ultimate goal is to promote the security industry and its professionals, placing great emphasis on such elements asethics and human rights, fair competition, accountability, and the quality and professionalism of the services provided.

Being admitted to the International Security League is a privilege that not all security companies can claim: only half of the applications are approved by the Board of Directors. Prestige, size, financial strength and adherence to the League’s core principles are in fact the key criteria by which new members are selected.

This is why Citizens of the Order is particularly proud to say that, after having already been a part of the League for a long time (having had the honor of hosting Assemblies in Turin in 1955 and 1961, and in Rome in 1992), in 2018 the society once again joined the League, and during this latest Assembly it had the opportunity to reintroduce itself and take an active part in the life of this prestigious Association.
