The Operations Center

The heart of our security and surveillance service is the Operations Centers, a technological core of the highest excellence in competence and professionalism.

Presided over 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by skilled operators, working with the most advanced technologies in the remote security industry; CDO Operations Centers make our surveillance network efficient, providing security and coverage over the territory through the combination of advanced technologies and qualified personnel.

The Operations Centers not only enable the organization of the quickest intervention in case of break-ins or problems of any kind, but also constitute an effective element of prevention.

The Power Plants are places of maximum security, where access is allowed only to highly qualified and authorized personnel after verification through control procedures; the physical structure itself protects the activities carried out within it by meeting the standards of UNI CEI EN 50518:2014.

The Central Operators

The Operations Center is manned by decreed and armed Sworn Special Guards, with primary experience in the field of technological security, who are responsible for monitoring and managing the systems connected to the Center, related alarm signals and/or malfunctions, according to detailed security procedures.

The goal of the CDO Operations Center is to ensure the perfect combination of rapid response time and intervention by coordinating with CDO patrols in the area and law enforcement agencies.

Because they are constantly updated and have ahigh level of training to which they must respond, qualified operators are able to handle any type of situation, whether it is of a critical nature, support and relief or telephone assistance.

Whether it is a home owned, abusiness, a motor vehicle, an elderly person, or a person in need, Central Operators can:

  • Identify and assess the alarm and/or emergency
  • Inform the person concerned
  • Organize an emergency response, instructing the nearest patrol car by radio to go and check
  • Alert the FF.OO and/or the Emergency Medical Service and/or the Fire Department
  • Write a report on what happened

The technologies of the Operations Center

Based on a solid IT infrastructure for acquisition, storage, management and processing of the communications network, our Operations Center is able to coordinate all services in the territory with management priorities consonant with an optimal assessment of the degree of risk. This allows a high level of vigilance accuracy within the definition of the degree of criticality of any event to be managed.

The Central Office makes use of management systems designed with high-performance, multi-vector, multi-functional, and modular hardware and software architecture for event and alert management.

The systems consist of a Client/Server structure, capable of receiving, storing, cataloging and protecting data, and one or more PCs/Clients. This architecture thus provides greater stability and reliability to the management system, leaving operators to access the system only through Clients.

Main systems capabilities:

  • Maintained the principles of multivectorality, multifunctionality and modularity
  • Fully remote-controllable system
  • High-performance hardware structure
  • Client/Server Architecture
  • Management of data and reports from various locations
  • Over 1,000,000 events per month can be managed efficiently
  • Management structure enhanced by a range of integrated and optional services

Thus, the system is high-tech, fast and secure in communication with powerful verification elements for audio and video intrusion detection, and enables Operators to identify with certainty what has happened at the affected location and to quickly activate service if needed.

The CDO Operations Center, specifically, has also gained particular experience in the centralized control of major Retail chains. It is thanks to this experience gained in the field, and to the knowledge and/or habits shared with the internal security of the individual business groups, that it has been possible to customize a procedural system that has considerably limited theft and/or damage to facilities.

Management systems dedicated to receiving alarm reports have been implemented with particular success with software that can also remotely control the floor plan of each alarmed site.

This upgrade, in addition to having a particularly high-performance overall grade, allows us tointervene remotely and reset and/or exclude even individual sensors. This activity is of particular importance in order to avoid malfunctions that could be the source of theft, damage, and unnecessary and/or costly additional asset protection services, normally carried out by means of on-demand plantings and/or inspections, with a reduction in the number of false alarms.

The Operations Center also actively operates in the field of satellite surveillance with Vanini Level 6 maximum compliance certification, protecting vehicles moving throughout the European Union. This management activity makes use of various platforms according to the customer’s needs.

The well-established professionalism and expertise of our Central Operators and the high quality standard of the hardware/software management structure, enable us to provide comprehensive H24 management of any alarm event and/or anomaly to protect the security of our customers’ assets.

The Operations Center is also included in the central integrated management system UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 (Quality Management Systems), UNI EN ISO 14001: 2015 (Environmental Management Systems), BS OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System).

It also meets the requirements of DM 269/2010 and complies with UNI CEI EN 50518: 2014 (Monitoring and alarm receiving centers).

It is recognized at the 6th Level as a Telesurveillance Center capable of operating according to the Vanini Scale with regard to the management of satellite tracking and telesurveillance services.
